Let’s do something for the people of Sistan and Baluchestan before it gets too late!

Raised :

846 $

Goal :

2,000$

More Information

Our goal is to collect $2000 to help affected people in Sistan and Baluchestan floods in Iran.

The devastating floods of Sistan and Baluchestan, Iran in January 2020 have affected many people in more than 500 villages and 14 towns and damaged or destroyed over 20,000 properties. There are several voices heard from the local people pleading for immediate vital assistance. These severely impacted members of our community currently experience the unbearable feeling of being forgotten specially during the series of tragedies and bad news in our country right now. They need our help and they need it now.

On behalf of Mehrgiti, we have created this fundraising campaign in Australia with target of $2000 to play our part by collecting donations from people outside Iran in which they might wish to help but can only use foreign currencies to donate. Reports on the detail of the expenditures in the affected areas will be then published in this campaign page as well as Mehrgiti social media channels.

Join us then please as your contribution will be hopefully heartening for the affected people.

A few words about Mehrgiti:

This charity has already begun responding to this disaster through collecting funds from the public and providing the essential needs for those who are affected most. Mehrgiti undertakes this through the several trustworthy contacts and NGOs in the area whom they have established connection with over the last years.
